Taste of Marietta brand refresh for 2020
The Marietta Visitors Bureau wanted a brand refresh for Taste of Marietta 2020. We provided an update that modernized their current look while also representing the vintage feel of Marietta. We then expanded their new branding into all aspects of the event. While the event was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we're confident this brand can be utilized for years to come.
Our client wanted a logo refresh that felt modern their logo while also adding vintage elements. Our strategy was to retain brand recognition with updated elements from the old logo, and add vintage elements inspired by the Marietta Georgia Visitors Bureau logo.
Using the energy and colors from the old Taste of Marietta logo and the vintage typography from the Marietta Georiga Visitors Bureau we were able to achieve this goal. We also updated the fork/fruit concept to give it a more rigid elegant feel.
Using this new logo as a jumping off point we were able to deliver multiple branding mockups to really show off the new look and feel for the 2020 festival.
